How Much of Boruto Did the Anime Cover?
The Boruto anime has pretty much covered Chapters 1 to 66 of the Boruto manga.
At this point, many people understand that there are a lot of differences between the Boruto anime and the manga, which led to some discussions online.
While the Boruto manga goes deep into plot advancement, the anime did a good job in the character development and world-building departments.
Also, the manga was released monthly at the time, while the anime was released weekly, resulting in filler episodes. The events in the anime should not pass the events in the manga, which also led to some production issues.
So far, the Boruto anime has a total of 293 episodes, including the filler episodes, compared to the events covered in the manga, which only has 66 chapters.

There are only 80 chapters in the Boruto manga, which means anyone can catch up to it easily, unlike other shounen manga series like One Piece, Dragon Ball, or even Naruto, which have a longer number of chapters to read.
The 80th chapter of Boruto was released on April 20, 2023, while the second season of Boruto has already been announced, but no release date has been set yet.
On the other hand, the second part of Boruto, officially titled Two Blue Vortex, has only just begun. It has released six chapters, and the seventh chapter is coming out on February 20, 2024, in most international regions.
