Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (Seaside Village ChaChaCha) is a remake of the 2004 South Korean film Mr. Handy, Mr. Hong by Kang Seok-beom, and Shin Jung-goo.
What is the plot of Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha Kdrama?
Hometown ChaChaCha is a romantic-comedy Kdrama set in the seaside village of Gongjin. The series revolves around a romance created between a pragmatic dentist and a handsome neighborhood handyman.
Yoon Hye-Jin is played by multi-awarded actress Shin Min Ah. Her character is a realistic dentist who opens up her own dental clinic in the seaside village of Gongjin.
Although having both beauty and brains, Yoon Hye-Jin has a clumsy side that contradicts her strict and perfectionist personality. In reality, she has a warm heart that attracts good happenings.
On the other hand, Kim Seon Ho portrays a handsome and smart man named Hong Du-Sik. He is called Chief Hong by the residents as he tries his best to take on odd jobs and help everyone in the village.
Technically, he is unemployed but enjoys doing favors for the residents such as delivering food to houses and working at a convenience store, therefore dubbed as a jack of all trades.
Kim Seon Ho's character entirely has a soft and kind heart. If someone needs help, he will be the first one to offer himself and provide assistance.

When will Hometown ChaChaCha Kdrama premiere on Netflix?
Hometown ChaChaCha is scheduled to premiere on tvN on August 28. New episodes will air every Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 PM KST. On the same date, the series will also be available for international fans for online streaming on Netflix.
