When Is Yellowjackets Season 2 Coming Out?
The cast and crew started Season 2 production in August 2022. By fall, showrunner and co-creator Ashley Lyle sent a tweet saying that they are still "deep in production."
As revealed by the show's official Twitter account in December, Yellowjackets Season 2 will be released on March 24, 2023.
The tweet comes with a cryptic video that doesn't give much away about the upcoming season's story.
Will There Be a Yellowjackets Season 3?
Here's some exciting news: Showtime has announced that they have renewed the show for a third season. This announcement was made ahead of the show's premiere for the second season.

Who Is Part of Yellowjackets Season 2 Cast?
As promised, more survivors from the plane crash will show up in Yellowjackets Season 2. The cast of the show will include the following names:

- Sophie Nelisse (as teen Shauna)
- Christina Ricci (as adult Misty)
- Samantha Hanratty (as teen Misty)
- Juliette Lewis (as adult Natalie)
- Sophie Thatcher (as teen Natalie)
- Tawny Cypress (as adult Taissa)
- Jasmin Savoy Brown (as teen Taissa)
The second season will introduce new characters and include guest appearances by:.
- Lauren Ambrose (as adult Van)
- Simone Kessell (as adult Lottie)
- Elijah Wood (as Walter)
- Nuha Jes Izman (as Crystal)
Ella Purnell's character, Jackie, died at the end of Yellowjackets Season 1 so it's unlikely that she'll be returning in the second season.
Is There a Trailer for Yellowjackets Season 2?
Aside from the 15-second clip released on Twitter, the official trailer for Yellowjackets Season 2 has not yet been released.
