After starring in the hit Yes Day film, Jennifer Garner has a new Netflix family-comedy movie entitled Family Leave. This is Garner's fourth major film for the streaming giant following Llama Llama and The Adam Project.

When Is Family Leave Coming Out?

After being announced, the film is slated to start filming in December 2022. But there are some reports that suggest production could start earlier in October. The scenes will be shot in Los Angeles, California.

A release date has not yet been revealed but will likely happen sometime in 2023.

What Is Family Leave Story About?

According to Netflix, Family Leave is about:

"The Brenners wake up to a full family body switch, they quickly realize the same thing has happened to a family on the other side of the world; they must unite with this group of strangers and determine how to undo the body switch."

The story of the film is based on Amy Krouse Rosenthal's book Bedtime for Mommy, which was illustrated by LeUyen Pham. The children's book was released in 2010 with a total of 32 pages.
