The composer of The Little Mermaid from the 1989 classic, Alan Menken, comes back for the live-action adaptation.
Add to the mix the creative input of Lin-Manuel Miranda, the famed creator of Hamilton, you got a great mix of songs for The Little Mermaid!

The Little Mermaid brings the story of Ariel to the big screens with the live-action adaptation of the Disney movie with a few modern twists.
Halle Bailey banners the cast as Ariel in The Little Mermaid and she is joined by Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric, and Melissa McCarthy as Ursula.
Also playing iconic roles are Daveed Diggs as Sebastian, Awkwafina as Scuttle, Jacob Tremblay as Flounder, Javier Bardem as King Triton, and Martina Laird as Lashana.
Included in the cast, as well, are Noma Dumezweni as Queen Selina, Emily Coates as Rosa, John Dagleish as Mulligan, and Jessica Alexander as Vanessa.
The Little Mermaid arrives in theaters on May 26, 2023.
