Netflix is making a spin-off show based on Guy Ritchie's 2019 film, The Gentleman. The spin-off series, which follows the same title of the movie, will have Guy Ritchie as the creator, co-writer, and executive producer. The first two episodes will be directed by Ritchie as well. Meanwhile, the other episodes will be directed by another director.

When Is The Gentleman Release Date?
Production of The Gentleman just started in London on November 7, 2022. This means that there is no release date yet for the show. But when the show starts streaming, it will have a total of eight episodes. The show is co-written by Matthew Read.
What Is The Gentleman Series About?
The Gentleman series will expand on the characters of the 2019 film. If you haven't seen the movie, it was about an American drug lord named Michael "Mickey" Pearson (played by Matthew McConaughey) who decides to sell his marijuana business. Unfortunately, things don't run as smoothly as an ordinary business since the British aristocracy is involved.
The series, on the other hand, will expand the characters from that universe. The series follows Eddie Horniman (played by Theo James), the estranged son of an aristocrat with an inheritance involving the largest weed farm in Europe.
Who Will Be Part of The Gentleman Cast?
The original film starred Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Jeremy Strong, Colin Farrell, Hugh Grant, Henry Golding, Michelle Dockery, and several others. But unfortunately, The Gentleman series won't bring back the original characters of the film.

Ritchie told Netflix:
