In-universe, the Solo Leveling Daily Quest is a workout that Sung Jin Woo must complete every day.

It is also known as The Preparation To Become Powerful because completing it will help Jin Woo be better prepared to face real threats.

This Daily Quest is given to Jin Woo by the System, the magical program he can access following his near-death experience.

Completing the Daily Quest allows Jin Woo to access rewards. Failure to do the workout, however, will teleport him to the Penalty Zone, where he must survive for four hours.

The Solo Leveling Daily Quest isn't as magical as it sounds. From what we've seen in the anime so far, a typical example of Sung Jin Woo's workout quest involves a lot of push-ups, squats, sit-ups, and a long run.

If this sounds like too much, imagine being forced to spend four hours in a desert dungeon instead.

Shounen anime often tell the story of a main character who becomes a powerful fighter, and some fans might want to try their favorite hero's routine.

Some fitness websites even use this fact to create workouts based on popular anime heroes to motivate fans to exercise.

In Solo Leveling, we even get to see the first of Jin Woo's daily quests, which involves 100 push-ups, 100 squats, 100 sit-ups, and a 10k run.

These are all common exercises that many athletes perform in real life. Of course, they won't necessarily be equipped to fight in dungeon crawls just because they did so!

As such, fans should ideally consult a Physical Education expert before beginning any anime-inspired workout, especially if they are just getting started.
