What Is the Meaning of Gyaru?
Gyaru is not an unfamiliar word or term for anime fans who have seen several shows, including Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable, throughout their lives.

Fuyuki Minami is a Dosanko Gyaru (Hokkaido Gyaru) in Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable. She can be classified as a Kogal type of gyaru due to her overall character design.
She wears her school uniform along with her super short skirt, despite the winter season.
As a gyaru, Fuyuki doesn’t mind baring her legs out in the cold weather of Kitama. When she first encountered Tsubasa, it was actually below freezing with a temperature of -8°C.
The same goes for her preference to not use winter gloves to ease her smartphone use.
In addition, she also yearns for the big Tokyo city experience more than anyone else, which explains her interest in Tsubasa, who moved from Tokyo to Kitami.
Moreover, Fuyuki is strikingly friendly and forward, not minding Tsuba’s personal space.
She can quickly sneak into Tsubasa’s space without feeling embarrassed, going so far as to cling to his arm. For a gyaru like Fuyuki, it is perfectly normal behavior.
