What Happened to Morning Joe on Peacock?
When you tune in to The Morning Joe News Channel on Peacock, you will be met by this error message:
"Hi! Thanks for reaching out! We apologize for this inconvenience. The Morning Joe News Channel is no longer available on Peacock; however, Morning Joe will remain available as a delayed on-demand offering. Should you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach back out! We're always happy to assist! "
With the error message in place, viewers are left to wonder what happened to Morning Joe on Peacock. Some fans hopped on Reddit to discuss what happened.
Some pointed out that The Morning Joe News Channel on Peacock was the main reason why they signed up for the streaming service.
Now that the show is no longer streaming on Peacock, they are considering leaving the service too.

Peacock Confirms Dropping Morning Joe
Following the concerns of viewers on social media, Peacock confirmed that they have shut off the live feed versions of Morning Joe and another cable news program, Squawk Box.
A spokesperson for Peacock spoke to Cord Cutters News that these two cable news programs have been pulled. There is also no word on when, or if, they will still return to the streaming service.
While this has been confirmed, there is no announcement on why the shows were removed from Peacock. The representative simply pointed out that Morning Joe and Squawk Box were treated as experiments.
Peacock also responded to a tweet and shared an explanation of why Morning Joe was removed from the service:
“Peacock regularly rotates content to enhance our user experience.”
Here's another response by Peacock:
“As we continue to grow, we’re constantly evaluating and evolving our strategy to best serve our partners and viewers. NBCUniversal remains committed to investing in both its linear and DTC video offerings.”

Will You Still Be Able to Watch Morning Joe on Peacock?
Just to be clear, Peacock has not entirely removed The Morning Joe News Channel and Squawk Box from its platform. Peacock subscribers can still watch these programs but at a later time instead of on-demand.
The representative clarified on Twitter that “episodes of Morning Joe will become available to stream on Peacock later the same day that they’re broadcast.”
The spokesperson pointed out that they have other sources of news content that are still available on Peacock. For example, there's NBC News Now, which is available for $5.99 per month.
Peacock also has a Premium Plus tier that gives you access to local affiliates so you can still watch the news. The only catch is that this service costs $11.99 per month.
