What Did Gojo Say to Geto at the End of Jujutsu Kaisen 0?

Towards the end of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Suguru Geto was escaping through the shadowed alley of Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School when he felt Satoru Gojo’s presence. The two had a small chat but one of Gojo’s replies did not have any dialogue even when his lips moved. What did Gojo say to Geto?

Even in the manga, when Gojo spoke the same line, there were no lines penned in. It was truly an intriguing line, especially when we know that it was a positive response considering that Geto replied with, “At least curse me a little at the very end”.

What Did Gojo Say to Geto?

Since there was no way Jujutsu Kaisen fans will know the line by themselves, someone actually asked Gege Akutami, the manga author and creator of Jujutsu Kaisen, if they will ever reveal the mysterious line in a Jujutsu Kaisen Mini Character Book.

Gege did not respond with the actual line but said that the words were already said in Volume 0.

There were a lot of words omitted by the special grade sorcerer but most Jujutsu Kaisen fans believe that it was the same line that Gojo said to Yuta after the student asked who found his ID card. Gojo said that it wasn’t him who found it and said, “He is my best friend. The one and only.”

While this could only be a speculation, it somehow fitted the scene.

When Gojo and Geto met by the alley, it was pretty obvious that Gojo intended to kill Geto after everything he has done. In fact, Geto seemed to know this as after he felt Gojo’s presence, what he said was “You’re late”.

Gojo responded with, “Any last words?” In which Geto answered his ideology by explaining everything he did so far. After this was the mysterious line that surprised Geto and he responded with a positive compliment.

Since the line will be directed to Geto, his answer would be, “you are my best friend. The one and only”.

What Happened Between Geto and Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen?

Before that scene was shown, it was hinted from time to time that Geto and Gojo were once close. They had a long history and it was shown that they were close back when they were still at Tokyo Metropolitan School.

They developed their powers together and learned more about each other along the way, which might be further explained in Jujutsu Kaisen season 2.

However, the movie somewhat gave fans a hint that the best friends decided to part ways due to their different ideologies. Even though that happened years ago, it seemed that Gojo’s perspective of Geto was still the same, considering the line he said.

The mysterious line showed how much Gojo treasured his best friend and can hint at his true character in the dark fantasy anime.
