K-pop is continuously dominating the world, with countless artists and idol groups making their names known through their unique sounds and concepts. So, it's no surprise that even Wednesday's Emma Myers herself is fangirling to SEVENTEEN.
Emma Myers had starred in the Netflix original series as the titular character's best friend, Enid Sinclair. Directed by Tim Burton, the series has continued to be a sensation as soon as it was released on November 23, 2022.

Wednesday's Emma Myers explains why SEVENTEEN is called SEVENTEEN
Emma Myers has been a CARAT (SEVENTEEN's fandom name) since she was 15 years old. However her love for the PLEDIS Entertainment boy group has only made headlines after she appeared on NBC's talk show, The Jimmy Fallon Show, on January 4, 2023.
The 20-year-old actress expressed her love for K-pop, introducing her bias group to the world. The host, Jimmy Fallon, even showed a photo of SEVENTEEN, to which Myers had answered a question that every non-CARAT had been curious of.
"The group name is SEVENTEEN, but there are 13 members," Emma said. She kindly explained how the group received their name and the meaning behind it.
"There's 13 of them, then there are 3 different groups: hip-hop, performance, and vocal. And then there's one team. So, 13 + 3 + 1 is SEVENTEEN."

She also said that she learned Korean by watching lots of videos on YouTube, especially SEVENTEEN's GOING SEVENTEEN and a lot of K-dramas. "My mother cooked Korean food for us because she grew up eating Korean food. So, I decided to learn Korean when I was 12 years old," Isabel shared.
