WB SDCC 2018 Panel Rumored To Include Trailer For Aquaman And Shazam! Teaser

Warner Brothers might not be working on the marketing campaign for any of its upcoming DC Extended Universe instalments just yet, but a new rumor says that the studio plans to set aside part of their panel at this year's San Diego Comic Con for Aquaman,Shazam!, Wonder Woman 2, and of course, The Batman.

According to Twitter user Daniel R, the same writer who let slip that Ben Affleck was still interested in his role as Batman, Warner Bros. has a lot prepared for DC fans at this year's SDCC. According to the writer's post, a portion of the studio's panel at the convention will include various marketing material for its upcoming films.

There will be a trailer and discussion for Aquaman, a teaser for Shazam!, artwork from Wonder Woman that teases Kristen Wiig's Cheetah, and an appearance from Affleck and The Batman director Matt Reeves.

This rumored marketing stint for Warner Brother's upcoming DCEU films sounds very likely. Not only does it fit the studios previous DC Films' presentations, it also works with Aquaman's marketing. The Aquaman (Jason Momoa) standalone does release in December – it'd make sense for the studio to begin the marketing campaign around the same time as this year's SDCC.

This year's San Diego Comic-Con International begins on Thursday, July 19 and ends on Sunday, July 22. Aquaman premieres on December 21.
