Watch The Updated Intro To Disney's DuckTales Reboot

Just in case you didn't know, Disney is planning to bring back DuckTales, and the new show features a star-studded cast which includes Ben Schwartz, Danny Pudi, Bobby Moynihan, and the fabulous David Tennant. We just recently got a bunch of character images for the series, and now we get to look at the updated intro theme, and it looks amazing!

According to Entertainment Weekly, DuckTales is going to premiere with a 1-hour TV special on Saturday, Aug 12, and the show will officially start a month later on Sept. 23 with two new episodes. It's going to be aired on Disney XD, as well as the app.

Besides David Tennant who is voicing the penny-pincher Scrooge McDuck, DuckTales will also feature the talents of Kate Micucci, Beck Bennett, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Allison Janney, and character actress Margo Martindale.

Even Danny Pudi's Community co-star Jim Rash is onboard as crazy inventor Gyro Gearloose, and Silicon Valley's Josh Brener (BigHead) is voicing the "Mark Zuckerberg" equivalent of Duckberg.

Just to compare, here's the original intro from the 80s:

Man, am I excited for this show. After Gravity Falls ended, I'm just waiting for Disney Channel to bring in a mystery-adventure series with the same "oomph" factor.

DuckTales premieres Aug. 12.
