WandaVision Star Paul Bettany Teases Return in Possible Star Wars Project

There is little doubt that fans are currently waiting to see Paul Bettany in WandaVision but it looks like the Marvel Cinematic Universe star has future projects in mind. Bettany has just admitted that he is eager to return as the villainous Dryden Vos in a possible Star Wars project.

Bettany and co-star Elizabeth Olsen recently spoke to Jake's Takes while promoting WandaVision and he was asked if there was any film character he would like to portray on an episodic basis. Interestingly, the Avengers: Endgame star was quick to admit that he wanted to revisit his character in Solo: A Star Wars Story.

"Oh, I would love to mess around with Dryden Vos. I would love to mess around with Dryden Vos. I love that idea," Bettany said.

It's no surprise that Bettany is eager to return to the Star Wars Universe. Although the character was already killed off in Solo, there are several ways in which Dryden can be brought back in a new project.

So how exactly can Dryden show up again in a new Star Wars series? Most of the live-action shows on Disney+ take place after his death so it's not likely we'll see him in The Mandalorian or The Book of Boba Fett. Instead, there's a good chance the character will be part of the Solo spin-off that focuses on the criminal underworld. However, this particular show has not yet been announced by Disney and Lucasfilm so it's best to take it with a grain of salt.

Bettany returns as Vision in WandaVision, which premieres on January 15.
