WandaVision Star Elizabeth Olsen Admits She Was 'Very Confused' While Filming Avengers: Endgame

Do you remember how heart wrenching it was to watch the very heroes we grew up with turn into ashes in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame? Spiderman Star Tom Holland once confessed that he had not known what had happened until the shooting wrapped up, so the scenes where he looked confused made sense after his statement. However, he was not the only Marvel Star hoodwinked in the process. Scarlet Witch Actress Elizabeth Olsen shared her experience working in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame in a recent interview with Variety.

“I mean, [in] those movies, I really don’t know what’s going on. I just get my pages, so I understand the part of the story I’m fulfilling. I get a story that is told to me from the Russos about what’s happening in the rest of the movie.”

Looks like Tom was not the only one forbidden from finding out the entire story of Avenger films in the duration of shooting. In his case, it was to prevent from spoiling the press on anticipated storylines in the MCU.

When asked why Lizzie couldn’t read the entire script, she shared that they were required to read the script in one office with a security guard and one specific iPad. Talk about keeping it confidential.

Lizzie shared the cast called Iron Man’s death scene ‘The Wedding’ upon shooting, but she didn’t know she was one of those who got ‘blipped’ away until they shot the scene.

“That was told to us that day.” She says, “All of us went to the van where they had a bunch of equipment to show us and they said, ‘This is what’s happening. You guys will disappear.’ And we’re like, ‘OK’. It was shocking. I mean, we didn’t know. We thought the movie ended differently.”
