Fans have been speculating that WandaVision could potentially set up the arrival of the mutants now that Marvel Studios finally owns the rights to the characters. The show, led by Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany may have felt like a slow burn to some people but eagle-eyed fans have been able to spot several easter eggs and nods to previous MCU films and comics.

Now, you may not realize it, but WandaVision just might have established its connection to arguably the X-Men's greatest adversary Magneto who happens to be Scarlet Witch's "father" in the comics and it happened as early as the second episode.

In the '60s-themed episode where Wanda and Vision join Westview's annual talent competition, the two portrayed a magician duo nicknamed Glamour and Illusion. During their final act, Vision brings out the "Cabinet of Mystery" which we saw at the beginning of the episode. But due to him experiencing a malfunction thanks to the chewing gum he accidentally ingested, Vision made a little slip and ended up calling it the "Magnet of Crysteries".

Of course, it makes absolutely no sense at all but if you'd put the first two words ("Magnet" and "of") together, you'll come up with the name Magneto. You may think that it's all just coincidental or we're just probably reaching but let's not act like Marvel Studios hasn't pulled some clever easter eggs in the past.

And considering the show is rumored to retcon Wanda as a mutant, could it mean that Erik Lehnsherr is actually lurking somewhere in Maximoff's pocket reality? What if he's one of the show's main villains? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

WandaVision is now streaming on Disney+.
