VIXX Cha Hak Yeon might soon find another home in the acting industry as he continuously lands on other dramas.
In the past years since 2013, Cha Hak Yeon scored guest and supporting roles in different dramas. As of the writing, he already added The Heirs, Hotel King, The Family is Coming, Tunnel, Familiar Wife, and Mine under his belt.
The K-pop idol also showed he could lead a drama already by spearheading Bad and Crazy, Children of Nobody, Tomorrow Boy, What's Up With These Kids, and Sassy Go Go.
Following the success of Bad and Crazy, Cha Hak Yeon expressed his desire to do more historical dramas in the future.

VIXX Cha Hak Yeon Experienced Historical Drama in Secret Royal Inspector & Joy
VIXX Cha Hak Yeon checked one item on his wish list after landing a spot in the historical drama, Secret Royal Inspector & Joy.
He played the role of Seung Yool, Joyi's childhood friend, who confesses to her. In one of the scenes, Kim Hye Yoon wishes him a good business trip before asking him to stay in touch with her. The first stills of N's character swooned fans' hearts, especially since the idol looks extremely good in historical costume.

But even before he joined the cast members, he has been wanting to try a historical drama following the finale of the series. Per the idol, trying a new genre makes him nervous, but he still wants to brave everything to try historical acting again.
"I was nervous but also excited, and fortunately people told me that it suited me well, so that gave me strength. It was really fun to play characters in a time period I've never experienced, so if I get the chance, I'd like to try a traditional historical drama," he said.
As of the writing, the idol is yet to find a historical drama where he could try auditioning. For now, he makes himself busy ahead of VIXX's anniversary.
Cha Hak Yeon to Celebrate VIXX's Legacy
On May 24, 2012, Jellyfish Entertainment's then-six-membered boy group debuted with their single album, Super Hero. Nearly 10 years since they started appearing in the K-pop scene, Cha Hak Yeon thanked his co-members for supporting each other's works and not leaving the group behind.
"The VIXX members are always cheering each other on and monitoring each other's work. Nothing has been decided with regards to a comeback," he said.
After celebrating VIXX's anniversary, Cha Hak Yeon would surely work on being acknowledge as "Actor Cha Hak Yeon."
