Venom: Suit Will Feature the Classic White Spider Logo

As of now, it's still unclear if Sony's Venom will have a connection to Spider-Man at all, but news has it that the suit will bear the signature white spider logo from the comics.

According to Geek Motivation (via SuperBroMovies), Venom in the movie will feature the classic white spider emblem "straight out of a comic book." It's not clear at what point in the movie we're going to get the logo, but a lot of fingers are crossed that we get a reveal of the full suit come SDCC 2018 next week.

It's going to be tricky for the movie to justify Venom having the logo since the trailers have not given us any indication that the symbiote or Eddie Brock has a thing for spiders. In the comics it made sense, since the symbiote bonded with Spider-Man first before it became Venom, but with a Spider-Man-less origin, relating Venom to spiders is going to be a stretch.

As I said, it's still murky on where Venom stands in relation to the new Spider-Man. On one side, you have people saying that Venom has no connection to the MCU at all. On another, there are rumors saying that Tom Holland will make a cameo in the movie as Peter Parker.

Hopefully everything clears out once Venom hits theaters.
