While the anime has only just begun, the show is now on its second part, or Chapter 2, which started in its latest episode.
The main cast continues to be present in this new arc, but they are now joined by a range of interesting new characters.
Undead Girl Murder Farce Hypes Up Chapter 2 With New Trailer
If you ask any anime fan about the top anime of the Spring 23 season, chances are that they’ll mention shows like Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, Mushoku Tensei Season 2, or Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead.
But we won’t be surprised if an increasing number of anime fans mention Undead Girl Murder Farce, an anime by Lapin Track (of Sarazanmai fame) that’s getting a lot of attention thanks to its unique historical fantasy premise.
What’s also cool about it is that it features lots of iconic characters from 19th-century pulp classics such as Sherlock Holmes, Arsène Lupin, and more.

While the show is said to be on Part 2 now, which is titled Struggle for the Diamond, this isn’t a second part in a traditional sense. Typically, Part 2 is reserved for the second cour of an anime.
Instead, this second part or chapter refers to the next main arc of the series, and it’s a promising one, especially for fans of classic detective fiction.

Undead Girl Murder Farce Adds Six New Voice Cast Members
As the new part introduces a range of new characters, the show has added the following voice cast members:
- Shinichiro Kamio (Leonardo Luna in Blue Lock) as Reynold Stinghart
- Sara Matsumoto (Namida Suzumeno in Boruto) as Fatima Double Darts
- Hideaki Tezuka (Dallis Zacklay in Attack on Titan) as Phileas Fogg
- Hidenari Ugaki (Ganryu in Tekken: Bloodline) as Passepartout
- Taiten Kusunoki (Mo Bu in Kingdom) as Lestrade
- Kousei Hirota (Arnold in Spice and Wolf II) as Ganimard
This new arc began with Episode 5, which aired yesterday and will continue in the next episodes.
