Every day, there are numerous rumors surrounding the list of names rumored to be joining Marvel or DC studios. Marvel, as one of the world's two largest superhero franchises, also has the most room for actors to play hundreds of superhero roles. Recently, a new rumor emerged that two stars from the neo-Western drama television series Yellowstone are heading their way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Yellowstone tells the story of the Dutton family, who own the largest ranch in Montana. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) is the head of the family and the sixth generation Dutton to maintain the Yellowstone Ranch. He leads his family through challenging times in the business and other familial conflicts. The series is filled with melodrama, dark secrets, murder, and many other sorts of scandalous events that make it feel like the entertaining 21st-century successor to Dallas.
Given the show’s growing popularity and progressive storytelling, fans are thrilled to know that some actors are about to grace the MCU if the rumors turn out to be true. Marvel news insider Jason Kane teased the information on Twitter, although he refused to name which specific actors are bound for Marvel.

With the scooper not dropping any names, MCU fans took the initiative to guess and fan-cast which Yellowstone actors are about to be part of the Marvel family and which character is fitting enough for them to play. TheComixKid responded with a picture of Luke Grimes, who stars as Kayce Dutton. One user suggested that he should play the vintage Marvel antihero Sentry.
One user asked if the recruit might be Academy Award winner Kevin Coster, who plays the Dutton family patriarch. ImpulsoNerd put his bet on Costner and American Beauty star Wes Bentley, who plays the combative Jamie Dutton in the series. Others wandered to the extended Yellowstone universe and hoped Star Wars veteran Harrison Ford was one of the rumored stars. Ford, as Jacob Dutton in the spinoff series 1923, is a preferable choice.

Just like Marvel, Yellowstone is a franchise of its own, intended for older audiences as it offers numerous entries spanning different time periods. Yellowstone has a shared interconnected universe in film and television, beginning with the prequel 1883 to how the Dutton family acquired the Yellowstone Ranch after the events of the Civil War. The miniseries was a big hit for Paramount, leading to a second spin-off in 1932, focusing on another generation of the Duttons during the Western Expansion.
While waiting for Marvel's official announcement, fans can take comfort in the fact that Yellowstone has a roster of talents that can translate into the superhero franchise.
