Tomorrow will finally receive its series adaptation following its impressive start as a webtoon.
The rise of webtoons allows manga makers to share their desired plots and stories with the world. So far, most Korean dramas are based on manhwa or webtoons shared online.
Out of all published works, Llama's Tomorrow became the latest webtoon to catch Korean producers' eyes that it will soon receive its TV adaptation. The manhwa revolved around Choi Jun Ung's life, a 27-year-old jobless man who eventually gets work in the underworld by accident.
After arriving on Naver, Tomorrow will finally reach its fans' TV screen as the team behind its adaptation finally held their first script reading recently.

Dong A confirmed that Kim Hee Sun, SF9 member Rowoon, Lee Soo Hyuk, and the other cast members recently met at the script reading for the upcoming MBC show. Directors Kim Tae Yoon and Sung Chi Wook joined the team, witnessing how the first script reading did not seem to be the first one as all actors and actresses already showed off perfect synchronization with their characters.
Rowoon plays the role of Choi Joon Wong, a jobless man who crosses paths with grim reapers Goo Ryun (Kim Hee Sun) and Lim Ryoong Goo (Yoon Ji On).
Kim Hee Sun's character is the Crisis Management Team Leader at the Joomadeung (phantasmagoria). She needs to save people who are contemplating suicide. She then secures a contract with Rowoon's character, leading the jobless man to achieve his dream of landing a job.
Following the meet-up, Tomorrow producers asked their future viewers to look forward to the cast members' performances as they play their characters with chemistry and synchroneity.
"More than anything, I think we'll be able to share deep emotions and warm laughs through the grim reapers who try to save lives, as well as the journey of unpacking the stories of those who are contemplating death. Please look forward to it," they went on.
