Will There Be a Tomo-chan Is a Girl! Season 2?
Tomo-chan Is a Girl! Season 2 has not been announced by the studio, Lay-duce, as of writing. Fans of the series still hope that the show will go on for another season, but given the manga's format, we think that this might not be viable.
Remember that Tomo-chan Is a Girl! is based on a four-panel manga series that's written and illustrated by Fumita Yanagida.
While the manga has around 900 chapters, bear in mind that this is equal to no more than 50-60 chapters as we know them.
Tomo-chan only has four panels per page, meaning that each chapter is very short.
Due to its type, the manga is a bit more disjointed and episodic compared to the anime, which tries to weave these elements into a more cohesive plot.
But if the anime wants to still stick to manga material as much as possible, a second season might be hard to pull off.
Depending on their pace, some anime might cover more than the equivalent of 50 or 60 chapters in a single season.
If a second season of Tomo-chan Is a Girl! attempted to adapt the remaining manga, it would likely run out of content.
Of course, many anime adaptations have been known to add their own original subplots and sometimes even endings -- this would likely be the only way to come up with a viable Tomo-chan Is a Girl! Season 2.

Tomo-chan Is a Girl! Season 2 Release Date Predictions
There is currently no official release date for Tomo-chan Is a Girl! Season 2, as new content has not been announced yet.
For many anime, Season 2 can be announced as soon as the end of Season 1's original run, in which case, a new season could come out around a year to a year and a half later.
Tomo-chan's case is a bit more complex because we don't think there is enough manga content for Season 2.
While it isn't entirely out of the question, it could be hard to do without source material to base it on.
What Would Tomo-chan Is a Girl! Season 2 Be About?
Since Tomo-chan Is a Girl! is a short manga, we think that another season following it faithfully is unlikely.
The manga ends by confirming that Tomo and Jun end up together, so there wouldn't be very much left to cover.
A Season 2 could work if the creators are able to make really good original content, perhaps focusing on another character, such as Misuzu.
There are no known plans for that yet, but it would surely be interesting.
