As fans eagerly wait for more info on Season 2 of the anime, an upcoming announcement happening on October 19 for Tokyo Revengers was recently teased via the series’ official social media account.
Specifically, the tease was made via a Tweet on the show's official Twitter account.
There, it was mentioned that an important announcement will be made on the 19th and that fans should watch out for it.
This teaser comes at an interesting time considering that the Season 2 premiere is just a couple of months away.
Plus, it was confirmed recently that the manga is about to start the climax of its final arc.

About Tokyo Revengers, Final Arc Climax Begins
Tokyo Revengers is an anime series by Liden Films that’s based on the manga of the same name by Ken Wakui that serializes in Weekly Shonen Magazine.
The series began back in March 2017 and has since become one of the most popular manga in Japan. As of July 2022, the manga has over 65 million copies in circulation.
Because of the manga’s popularity, the series received a TV anime adaptation, with the first season consisting of 24 episodes. The TV anime aired from April to September 2021.
In the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine, it was revealed that the manga is heading toward the climax of the ongoing final arc. This means it’s likely that the manga will end its run soon.
Given the timing of the teaser, it’s possible that a Tokyo Revengers manga ending announcement will happen on October 19.
After all, the series is nearing its climax, so the end is likely in sight.
Tokyo Revengers Season 2
If it doesn't turn out to be a manga-related announcement, it’s likely that more info on the upcoming second season will be announced.
Tokyo Revengers Season 2 (officially entitled Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown) was revealed back in June and is set to release in the Winter 2023 season.
Based on its title, the show’s next season will cover the Christmas Showdown Arc in the manga.
Though currently, there’s not a lot of info yet about the upcoming season as only an announcement video for it has been released.
What we do know for sure is that Season 2 will premiere in January 2023, but there’s no info yet on how many episodes the show will have.
