While it’s been revealed previously that the next Tokyo Revengers season will stream on Disney+, it was announced recently that Tokyo Revengers Season 2 will be streamed in the US on Hulu.
The show’s US release was announced in a new trailer that was uploaded on the Hulu official YouTube channel. Aside from having English subs for the US audience, the trailer also revealed the show’s streaming date.
Tokyo Revengers Disney+ Announcement
The first Tokyo Revengers season aired between April and September 2021. In the US and other selected countries, season 1 was streamed on Crunchyroll, but the show’s second season will instead be streamed on Disney-owned platforms.
In late 2022, Disney and Kodansha revealed that they have extended their partnership, meaning more anime based on Kodansha titles will be streamed on Disney+. This includes the next Tokyo Revengers season.
At the time, it was presumed that the next season will be streamed on Disney+ worldwide, though it turns out that wasn’t the case.
In the US, it’s confirmed that Hulu will stream the show. This is similar to what happened with Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War which was also streamed on Hulu in the US and on Disney+ in other countries.
This still makes sense in the context of the Disney and Kodansha deal though. After all, Hulu is majority-owned by The Walt Disney Company.

Christmas Showdown Hulu US Release Date
The anime’s first season was composed of 24 episodes, and it quickly became a big hit both in Japan and internationally. While the manga has ended, the anime will likely continue adapting the rest of the source material.
Currently, there’s no word yet on an official episode count for season 2. Though it’s expected to have only around 12 episodes given that it will only cover the Christmas Showdown arc.
Tokyo Revengers Season 2 will be streamed on Hulu in the US beginning January 7, 2023. This follows the first episode’s Japanese release which is set on January 8, 2023, at 2:08 AM JST.
As fans eagerly await the series’ release, the second season’s opening was shared online featuring a new song by Official HiGE DANDISM. The band also performed the first season's opening.
