With the announcement of Tokyo Revengers’ anime adaptation of the Christmas Showdown arc, Draken will sound differently from then on as the voice actor of the character, singer Tatsuhisa Suzuki, would be recast following a cheating scandal that went viral between the artist and a 20-year-old fan while married to a pop star, LiSA.
In an announcement on the official website of Tokyo Revengers, the producers of the show announced that there would be a recast on the role of Ken “Draken” Ryuguji which was originally voiced by Tatsuhisa Suzuki. It was said to be a discussion within the committee and along with is an affirmation that the staff and the cast will go hand-in-hand in the production of the Holy Night Battle.
No replacement has been named yet.
Voice actor and singer Tatsuhisa Suzuki is married to a pop star, LiSA, who is known for being the singer of the original theme song of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba, Gurenge. The scandal went public and fans went ballistic after the alleged extramarital affair was revealed to be between Suzuki and a 20-year-old fan.

After the said scandal, both Suzuki and LiSA went on hiatus. The band of Suzuki, OLDCODEX, also announced their disbandment which will happen after the release of the last Free! movie. LiSA has made a comeback in The Misfit of Demon King Academy, the second season of Ultraman series on Netflix, and on the Pokémon anime.
As announced on December 18, 2021, Tokyo Revengers will be releasing the Christmas Showdown arc which will follow the events of the Bloody Halloween Battle involving the Toman and Valhalla gangs. However, it is yet to be determined whether the arc will form part of the second season, a TV special, an OVA, or a film.
Tokyo Revengers Season 1 is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll. There is no release date yet for the Christmas Showdown arc.
