Tokyo Revengers Ending Explained

After everything that happened, following various trips of Takemichi to the past to be able to climb up the ladder and be a member of the Tokyo Manji Gang to save Hinata from dying in the future, the finale has brought us a rollercoaster of emotions and definitely, it blew us all away as no one expected that the ending of Tokyo Revengers would be like that.

In Tokyo RevengersEpisode 24, A Cry Baby, Tokyo Manji Gang, and Valhalla finally come together. it is Takemichi's first time to participate in a rally wearing special East Swastika attack clothes. They were surprised that Chifuyu and Hanma are beside Mikey. Baeryu Hara will belong to East Swastika after losing.

When Mikey announced the said merger, Kisaki was celebrated as the savior of both sides. As for Takemichi, he was nominated by Chifuyu to be their first-ever division captain.

Takemichi went back to the present and found out how things changed drastically as he became a high-level executive member, however, Mikey and Mitsuya remain missing and Draken got executed, so, Kisaki holds the highest seat in the absence of Mikey.

The police raided the Tokyo Manji Gang and Chifuyu and Takemichi were the ones responsible for it so they were captured. Chifuyu admitted to the fact that he was the one who leaked the information, he was the rat to the police. This was his way to revenge for Baji who was killed by Kisaki. Kisaki, on the other hand, prepared to shoot Takemichi, but he pulled the trigger on Chifuyu.

Takemichi cannot believe how the past has changed the present and it still ends as if it was a bad dream now that the Toman is on his shoulders, and Kisaki bids goodbye to Takemichi, calling him, "my hero."

With Kisaki's gun pointed on the head of Takemichi and he said his farewell to him, the scene was cut short by the credits with the sound of a gunshot as the screen blacked out.

Did Takemichi die in the hands of Kisaki? Analyzing what happened in the finale, it could be deduced that he could have died in that scene and Kisaki really pulled the trigger to Takemichi's head. However, it is also possible that he fired somewhere else, the dead body of Takemichi was not shown at all.

With such an ending, Season 2 of Tokyo Revengers remains possible as the cliffhanger has everyone holding on to hope that the fate of Takemichi would be different.
