Draken's looking weaker and weaker. Takemichi is staying with him while waiting for the ambulance. He tries to comfort him, but even Takemichi is barely keeping it together himself. Draken realizes that he's dying. With tears in his eyes, Takemichi says everything will be alright. Draken tells him not to blame himself because he's simply returning the favor by saving Takemichi as well.

Takemichi continues to listen to Draken talking about his childhood fights where he was defeated. Draken tells him it's too bad Mikey hasn't experienced defeat. He also expresses his admiration for him, as someone who went through a lot of pain. Draken says it's only too bad that he wasn't able to do anything for Mikey. So, he asks Takemichi to take care of Mikey. With a determined look on his face, Takemichi says he will absolutely take care of him.

In case Draken doesn't make it, his death may spark numerous fan theories about the time leaping.
