Son Dongwoon officially joined the cast members of the upcoming remake of the 2016 Japanese hit drama Sleepeeer Hit! The idol-turned-actor scored the role of Oh Yoon in the SBS drama. He is a handsome and popular webtoon writer who became more famous due to the series he is working on.
Before fans see him again in the K-drama, Today’s Webtoon shared new stills of him as the series’ celebrity writer.

Son Dongwoon Becomes Celebrity Writer in Today’s Webtoon
The drama (via Naver) released a new set of stills showing the K-pop idol as he plays the role of celebrity writer Oh Yoon.
In the photos, Oh Yoon spends his time meeting with fans during fan signing events. Others also show him as he works seriously in the industry.

Son Dongwoon already showed exciting expressions in the teaser photos, as he already has experience in acting due to his participation in several musicals and a web series.
Because of this, he reportedly earned the nickname Son Namshini which means the male god Son.
“Son Dongwoon is also called Son Namshin on set with another meaning thanks to his amazing acting that went beyond expectations. He is making the show even richer with his visuals that match the character perfectly and his realistic acting. Please anticipate the birth of a skilled idol-turned-actor,” the production team said.
Today’s Webtoon Cast Members
Aside from Son Dongwoon, fans can also look forward to seeing the acting skills of the K-drama’s cast members.
Kim Sejeong, Daniel Choi, and Nam Yoon Su are the main cast members. Meanwhile, the supporting members’ list is composed of veterans and newbies in the acting industry, including Ko Chang Seok, Jang Sung Yoon, Nam Bora, Kim Kap Soo, Im Chel Soo, Park Ho San, Ha Do Kwon, Ha Yul Ri, Yoon Seo Ah, Hwang Young Hee, and Jeon Hye Yeon.
Jang Seong Yoon, Kim Do Hoon, Kim Yong Seok, Ahn Tae Hwan, Baek Seok Kwang, Yang Hyun Min, Kang Rae Yeon also appear in the K-drama.
Today’s Webtoon will release episode 1 on July 29 at 10:00 p.m. KST.
