This October will see the arrival of DC's live-action Titans show, and marketing for the series has slowly been trickling out. Just in, we have some new promo images of Robin (Brenton Thwaites) and Starfire (Anna Diop).

No doubt, reception for the show has not been good ever since the trailers have come out, but I'm guessing people will change their tune once they get a taste of the actual show. A lot of hate has been thrown at Anna Diop's Starfire for not being accurate to the comic at all, but my guess is that her look in the series is more of an Earthling disguise, and she'll have a more proper looking outfit as the series progresses.
Titans is expected to launch alongside DC's streaming service, but unlike Netflix, the episodes will be released in a weekly basis in lieu of having all the episodes dropped on the first day.
Will Titans be a hit? We'll just have to wait and see. Most of the haters seem to be comparing the show to the animated Teen Titans, but I'm sure that this version of the characters will eventually find its target audience somewhere down the line.
Titans will run for 12 episodes, and will premiere on Oct. 12.
