Tiger & Bunny, a Tokyo anime awardee that garnered three wins in 2012, including Best Character Design, is finally having its long-awaited second season.
Season 1 of the anime first aired in 2011, and it has been eleven long years of drought for the Tiger & Bunny fans. Although the anime has previously spawned two anime movies, namely Tiger & Bunny the Movie: The Beginning in 2012 and Tiger & Bunny the Movie: The Rising in 2014, having its second season is still a longing for the fans.
The anime will also have an event entitled "Tiger & Bunny 2: Precious EVE" this coming March 12 at Makuhari Messe Event Hall in Tokyo. Accordingly, the event will reveal the anime’s opening theme song.
Wait no more, for Tiger & Bunny 2 will premiere on April 8, 2022, as part of the Spring 2020 anime lineup. Here is the Tiger & Bunny 2 Anime Release Date, Studio, Where to Watch, Trailer and Everything You Need to Know!
What is Tiger & Bunny 2 About?
Tiger & Bunny 2 will follow its previous premise of heroes-for-hire set in the 1978 Sternbild City. It will also tell the events after the Tiger & Bunny The Movie -The Rising- anime film. So, I suggest that you watch the said anime film before immersing yourself in its second season.
If you are not familiar, Tiger & Bunny tells the stories of Kaburagi T. Kotetsu and Barnaby Brooks Jr. in Sternbild City. The anime is set in a world where normal people live alongside human beings with superhuman abilities known as "NEXT."
These NEXT users are known to maintain peace by solving crimes and saving people. There’s a catch, though! Every NEXT user is hired by hero companies who sponsor them with logos while helping them acquire hero points to place higher in the hero TV rankings.
To become King of Heroes, both Kaburagi and Barnaby need to improve their positioning as well as the reputation of their company, Apollon Media. Since the hero system has been applied worldwide, new and upcoming heroes have been invading Sternbild City. Will they be able to achieve their dreams?
