There is little doubt that everyone is wondering who Russell Crowe will be playing in Thor: Love and Thunder. However, his mystery character has not yet been revealed by Marvel Studios. Amazingly, it was Crowe himself who confirmed who he will be playing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and it's pretty awesome.
Crowe was recently interviewed for the radio station JOY 94.9 where he revealed what he would be doing for the day. Amazingly, the Man of Steel star may have shared a little too much information.
"I'm gonna get on my bicycle. I'm gonna ride up to Disney Fox Studios, and around about 9:15 I shall be Zeus!" Crowe said. He then pointed out that he is down to his last day of work on Love and Thunder.
"It's for Thor. It's my last day of Zeus-ing about and I'm going to enjoy it," Crowe said.
We're loving how Crowe doesn't care about keeping his character's identity a secret and also, it's awesome that he's playing another impressive character. The idea of Zeus showing up in Thor 4 is a welcome one and we can't wait to see Crowe in action.
Love and Thunder have been in production for some time now and the filming could end anytime soon. Hopefully, we'll be getting more awesome updates about the sequel in the next few weeks.
Thor: Love and Thunder is directed by Taika Waititi and also stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, and Christian Bale. The film is scheduled to release on May 6, 2022.
