Over the past few months, we've seen a handful of promotional materials for X-Men: Apocalypse that makes it appear as if the studios have pulled out all the stops to hype audiences for the upcoming movie. There's even an exclusive app that would give fans Apocalypse event updates and giveaways.
Well, it appears that we haven't seen everything yet. According to Heroic Hollywood, a new X-Men: Apocalypse trailer is yet to be shown at this week's CinemaCon and that trailer includes a scene with Wolverine.
Wolverine's appearance in Apocalypse has been in rumors for quite a while now, but it's only now that we're getting any confirmation of those speculations.
There's also other likely proof of Wolverine appearing in Apocalypse. A leather goods manufacturing company in New York reportedly posted the image of a bag (now deleted) that they claim they made for Jackman for use in the movie. There had also been previous reports that the 47-year-old Aussie actor had been part of reshoots for Apocalypse taking place at the end of last year.
Heroic Hollywood adds that Jackman's Wolverine's had not been part of the original script and the character was only added in during reshoots. X-Men: Apocalypse director managed to include Jackman in the film, to which the actor agreed.
It would appear that the Wolverine appearance is only a cameo if it was added last minute. It's also worth noting that Jackman previously expressed his desire to leave the role, which means the actor actually liked the cameo Singer had for the character.
