The Walking Dead's Danai Gurira Pens Hearfelt Goodbye Letter to Michonne

If you tuned in to the latest episode of The Walking Dead Season 10, chances are you're wondering if we will still see Michonne in the future. Although some are hoping that the character will be back soon, Danai Gurira has already made her farewell to the katana-wielding survivor. The Black Panther actress decided to post a heartfelt goodbye letter to the character she has played for several years.

Gurira tweeted the letter along with an image of herself with Michonne's iconic boots. Check it out below.

In addition to saying goodbye to Michonne, Gurira thanked everyone she worked with on The Walking Dead.

"Thank you to the amazing cast and crew I had the pleasure to honor to work with to tell this story. SO many incredible human beings, I leave knowing with every ounce of my being how hard it is to find that type of community and connection. People who have your back, true collaborators who are pursuing the story above all things and who are pouring it out with love and abundance," Gurira wrote.

In the episode What We Become, Michonne found evidence that Rick Grimes is still alive. She then contacted Judith through her walkie-talkie and stated that she would set off to find Rick and left the other survivors. Needless to say, fans are hoping this means Michonne will appear in the Walking Dead films that will focus on Andrew Lincoln's character.

The next episode of The Walking Dead Season 10 is titled Look at the Flowers and will premiere on AMC on March 29.
