Kim Sejeong is one of the main cast members of the series, joining Jo Byeong Gyu, Yoo Joon Sang, and Yeom Hye Ran. The series tells the story of the demon hunters, who are known as counters, as they disguise themselves as employees in a noodle restaurant. In reality, the counters hunt down demons who come to Earth to live an eternal life.

Its second season has been highly anticipated, especially since it had a record-breaking stint for having the highest ratings in OCN history.

The Uncanny Counter 2 Updates

Before Kim Sejeong received the offer, talks about the OCN and Netflix series started as early as 2021 after airing its last episode on Jan. 24, 2021. Soon after season 16’s release, the network confirmed that it would release The Uncanny Counter Season 2, but details about the next story remained unknown at that time.

Meanwhile, South China Morning Post reported that the talks were already underway last year and that the recording had already started in September. It added that the series aims to be released early this year.

However, as K-drama fans are about to reach the last quarter of the year, it is safe to say that The Uncanny Counter 2 might arrive by next year instead.
