The Umbrella Academy rose in popularity like a phoenix when Netflix released an amazing live-action adaptation that gave fans and new viewers plenty to enjoy. It's clear that this was something special, even if it did a couple of things different from the comics, which is why a lot of people are excited for The Umbrella Academy Season 2. Fans will be thrilled to know that they are going to get the second season sooner, rather than later.

Netflix released a fun, quarantine-style music video showing the series' cast dancing along to I Think We're Alone Now before unveiling the release date, which is July 31. That's right, fans will be able to watch the show's second season in a little over two months, which is sooner than most people expected, especially given the circumstances plaguing the world.

In fact, those circumstances might be why the show's second season took a while to release. We're going to assume that initial shooting was done but editing, sound mixing, and everything else had to be done at home.

Still, everyone involved should be congratulated for giving us more entertainment since it's really easy to get bored in quarantine. This is why there are idiots protesting over not being able to get a haircut, but that's a different discussion for another time. Hooray for The Umbrella Academy Season 2!

Fans will be able to stream The Umbrella Academy Season 2 on Netflix, starting July 31. The first season can now be streamed for those that haven't seen it yet.
