Umbrella Academy Season 2 to Introduce New Characters, Big Change in Setting

We're still waiting for the second season of The Umbrella Academy but it looks like there are exciting things to look forward to in the Netflix series. Composer Jeff Russo has just confirmed that Season 2 will feature a major "change in setting" and we'll be meeting new characters soon.

Russo, who has been scoring for the series, recently spoke to Comicbook.com where he confirmed that "there's definitely a big change in setting" in The Umbrella Academy Season 2. In addition to that, the composer that the show will introduce several new faces.

"There are some new characters that we're going to be having some fun with from a score perspective and that's always fun, coming up with new thematic ideas for new characters and how to underscore them. So there's a lot of new and then there's a lot of the same. It's a lot of both, but it's definitely a thrill ride this year," Russo said.

We're still unsure about what will happen in the second season but we already know that Ben Hargreeves aka Number Six will be one of the main characters although he was killed in the first season. Considering that Ben was with his siblings as they went back in time in the previous season finale, there's a huge possibility that he will be resurrected in some way.

The Umbrella Academy Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date. However, the series is expected to return on Netflix later this year.
