After a string of hiatus faced by the show, Superman & Lois Season 2 finally arrived at its finale and it is a massive one with tons of revelations coming in. It perfectly sets up what is coming next and here is the ending of this series’ run explained.
The Ending of Superman and Lois Season 2 Finale
A quick recap of Superman & Lois Season 2 Episode 15, Chrissy tells everyone to be with families since people are starting to be randomly plucked out between worlds and Lois is one of those where she sees Sam, Kyle, and Inverse Chrissy going back to Earth without her. Natalie contacts John and takes out his escape pod to the space between the worlds.
Second, Natalie and John transfer their suits to use it to take down the portals. Tal-Rho comes back and brings Superman to the sun which supercharged his powers while John and Natalie try to break and separate the worlds and they are successful.
The world celebrates and Clark and Lana finally reconcile while Sarah and Jordan revive their relationship. Lois also reveals to Chrissy that her husband, Clack, is Superman. Meanwhile, Lana admits to Kyle that their relationship could not start over the way it was. Ally’s allies were imprisoned at the Department of Defense and they inform Lois how incomplete they feel.
Surprisingly, John Diggle from another Arrowverse show pays a visit to Irons and he wants to know the reason for Bruno Mannheim, a mobster from the DC comics, killing the Irons on Earth. Tal-Rho gives Jonathan and Jordan a truck and flies to the Inverse Smallville. Clark is back in shape and he builds a new Fortress in the Ocean.
A lot has been unpacked by the finale of Superman & Lois Season 2 and it surely sets up the table for the upcoming Season 3.
First up, it was revealed that Superman & Lois is not on Earth Prime which means that while Tyler Hoechlin's Superman forms part of the Arrowverse, they do not share the same universe. Second, his enhanced powers from the efforts of Tal-Rho gives him a headstart for Season 3.

Superman & Lois Season 3 Renewal Status
In a press release, The CW proudly announced which shows will be continuing their journey on the small screens and two Arrowverse series made it to the list: The Flash and Superman & Lois. Both of these beloved series are expected to get another run by next year and the fans of the show couldn’t get anymore excited especially with both still airing their previous seasons.
Season 3 of Superman & Lois is expected to follow the storyline taken by the second season which is currently on the arc where the Inverse world is being open and threatened by Anderson’s cult. Other versions of the characters come and go. The sons of Clark and Lois, Jonathan and Jordan are also dealing with their respective powers as well, whatever the source may be. The series would continue the path already being taken and would be picking up where Season 2 will be leaving.
It is expected that Tyler Hoechlin will be back as Clark Kent/ Superman, and Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane. They would be joined by their children Jordan Elsas as Jonathan Kent and Alexander Garfin as Jordan Kent.
However, there is no release date yet for Superman & Lois Season 3.
Where to Watch Superman & Lois Season 2 Finale Episode 15?
Superman & Lois Season 2 Episode 15, titled Waiting For Superman was released on June 28, 2022 and it streamed on Hulu+ Live TV, YouTubeTV, and AT&T TV Now. The morning after its release on cable television, the episode was uploaded through The CW App and on CW.com.
From the home of the Arrowverse, Superman & Lois releases new episodes every Tuesday on The CW. Following the release on the cable television network, the episode releases online through The CW App and CW.com the morning after. There is also a live stream through Hulu+ Live TV, YouTubeTV, and AT&T TV Now in their TV channel bundled with The CW.
The series finds a new home in HBO Max after its season finale airs. All the previous episodes of the first season was put up on HBO Max. It could be expected that after eight days the season finale airs, the whole first season of Superman & Lois would be on the said streaming platform.
This means that around July 5 or 6, Superman & Lois Season 2 will be available to stream on HBO Max.
