The Mandalorian Season 2 saw the epic return of Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand who aligned herself with Boba Fett and if you've seen the explosive finale, you're very much aware by now that the actress' Star Wars journey is far from over. Wen is set to join two Star Wars spinoff shows — the animated show titled The Bad Batch and TheBook of Boba Fett which was teased during Chapter 16: The Rescue's end-credits scene.

News about the Boba Fett spinoff was confirmed this week and Ming-Na Wen couldn't help but geek out over the exciting project which could potentially explore how Boba Fett managed to stay alive all those years after his fatal Sarlacc Pit plunge. Taking to her Twitter account, the Mulan voice actress wrote: "Is it weird that I'm geeking out about my own life right now?"

Cara Dune actress Gina Carano is also feeling ecstatic for her The Mandalorian co-star. Sharing Ming-Na's tweet, the ever-so-controversial Carano took a break from her news-making tweets to show her appreciation for the actress. Gina wrote: "I just adore this woman.. you can feel her heart exploding with happiness. SO deserving! Shining brightly over there @MingNa. I'm geekin out for you too."

We're living for women who support and empower each other and it's nice to see how Gina and Ming-Na managed to develop a strong bond in just a short amount of time thanks to their respective Star Wars gigs. I'm also pretty sure that we haven't seen the last of Cara and Fennec teaming up together. Who knows? Dune could see herself fighting alongside Shand in The Book of Boba Fett.

The Book of Boba Fett will premiere in December 2021 on Disney+.
