The Mandalorian star Gina Carano has made headlines over the last couple of months for her controversial tweets which angered a lot of fans. The former mixed martial arts fighter isn't shy about sharing her opinions about socio-political issues on her platform, namely her skepticism of COVID-19 vaccines and it's effectiveness and mail-in votes.

Carano was even dragged onto the Capitol protests which rocked Washington, D.C. earlier this year with a lot of fans convinced that she's in favor of the chaotic riots. It was never proven but it just goes to show how the public perception of Gina has changed drastically over the last few months.

Several sites have reported that Disney executives have serious heat with Carano and her days in the hit Star Wars spinoff show may be numbered if she doesn't publicly apologize for her actions online. Now, insider Daniel Richtman is reporting on his Patreon account that Gina has finally met with Disney to apologize for her social media behavior and sort things out.

How and when exactly it took place wasn't disclosed but if Richtman's claims are in fact legitimate, then that would explain Carano's sudden "silence" on social media. I'm guessing the actress is willing to set aside her pride to protect her career especially now that her character Cara Dune could headline her own Star Wars spinoff project, possibly Rangers of the New Republic.

Either that or maybe Gina has just come to the realization that as a public figure, she should be mindful of the stuff she brings up on her platform.

Meanwhile, Seasons 1 & 2 of The Mandalorian are available on Disney+.
