The Mandalorian: Katee Sackhoff Pegs MCU Star To Play Live-Action Satine Kryze

The Mandalorian star Katee Sackhoff has been pretty much the leading buzz since Season 3, where the series began redirecting its main character towards Bo instead of Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin.

Now that The Mandalorian Season 4 is in its early development, Sackhoff plays off on the idea of whether we are ever getting to see her character’s sister, Satine Kryze, show up in live-action after her.

“I’m sure Dave [Filoni] has all the answers to all of this stuff. That’s the cool thing about Filoni, he already has all the answers to all of this stuff.” Sackhoff said in a recent interview on the Steve Varley show.

Amidst the topic, Sackhoff revealed her pegged actress to hail the role in live-action, a widely acclaimed actress who has also had a grasp playing prominent roles in huge franchises such as the MCU and Lord of the Rings.

“It’s just a matter of where or not I get to be privy to it or not…” Sackhoff added, “I wish that we could talk about Satine. I think Cate Blanchett would be amazing.”

There is no doubt that Cate Blanchett would be PERFECT for the role, however, as for the possibility of seeing Satine again, chances remain slim.

Satine is already dead, and that was during her short time span in Clone Wars.

Although Lucasfilm could easily write a new storyline just to bring back the character, it remains to be seen for now, especially since Bo has too much in her hands.

However, if Obi-Wan Kenobi were to be given a second season, seeing as Satine is the love interest of the titular character, then perhaps it would be possible for us to finally see Bo’s sister in live-action.

For now, nothing has been confirmed yet, aside from Sackhoff’s own pegged actress to star in the role. What do you think about Cate Blanchett playing Satine?

All three seasons of The Mandalorian are now streaming on Disney+, while Ahsoka arrives on the streamer in August this year.
