The Mandalorian craze has swept the entire Star Wars fandom off its feet since the Disney+ series' first season and we can't seem to get enough of Mando (Din Djarin) and the ever-so-adorable Baby Yoda who has seemingly managed to snatch the hearts of a lot of geek aficionados in existence.

We reported last week that Xbox might be teasing a Mandalorian game and while the possibilities of it seem unlikely for now, the hit sandbox video game series Minecraft has just added a new Star Wars DLC that will feature Mando and Baby Yoda joining in on the fun and that's definitely the next best thing.

The fun doesn't stop there as the new DLC offers more than just Mando and The Child in action. It also features items from the original Star Wars trilogy — A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi — and 12 different planet dioramas which include Tatooine, Endor, Hoth, Nevarro, and Sorgan among others.

I'm pretty sure I'm speaking for a lot of fans when I say that it would so damn cool if we could get a full-blown The Mandalorian tie-in game and seeing as the Disney+ series is becoming more and more popular, I think LucasArts should totally consider the idea. I mean, they should capitalize on the show's growing popularity, right? And I'm not just talking about DLC content for other existing Star Wars games like Squadrons or Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, I'm talking about a standalone Mando game. A man can dream, can't he?

The Mandalorian Season 2 is now streaming on Disney+.
