The Latest Star Wars Theory on Rey's Origins Might Be The Most Fascinating Yet

Warning: the video above contains spoilers for Star Wars: The Force Awakens

We've heard several theories shared online about the origins of Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Some say that she could be a Skywalker (There's even a "clue" that was shared online), or she might be Han Solo and Leia’s daughter that’s been left into hiding because of the First Order and Kylo Ren. But what if none of that is the case for Rey? Mr. Sunday Movies released a new video theorizing that Rey is actually related to the late Obi Wan Kenobi. That would mean that A) Kenobi got a little naughty during his time in exile on Tatooine and B)  Obi Wan Kenobi's children escaped any involvement in the Galactic Civil War that drove the original trilogy. The video points out their resemblance: the style of clothing they wear, their ability to mind-control, and the parallels of their actions in their respective films.

It's interesting theory, but it's tough to believe due to Rey's age and her comprehension of her force powers. Do you think Kenobi left her stranded in Jakku or do you think this theory is far from the truth?
