The Flash Movie Receives Special Praise from Iconic Author

In just a couple of weeks, the audience will finally watch the long-awaited DCEU film The Flash which will mark Ezra Miller's first solo movie as the titular hero and also feature the return of Michael Keaton as Batman more than 30 years after he last played the role.

So far, the buzz has been positive as the reactions during the early screening at CinemaCon a few weeks ago were enthusiastic, and there were even claims that it is one of the best superhero movies to date.

Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav and DC Studios co-chairman James Gunn have also publicly praised the film. A report also claimed a while ago that Tom Cruise was also enthusiastic about the film after watching it at his private screening.

Now, the film is receiving another praise from a high-profile figure and it's from one of the best-selling authors of all time.

Iconic horror author Stephen King recently joined the chorus of public figures who have praised the film as he tweeted his reaction after watching an advance screening where he called it "special" and "heartfelt."

"I got an advance screening of THE FLASH today," he wrote in his tweet.

"As a rule I don't care a lot for superhero movies, but this one is special. It's heartfelt, funny, and eye-popping. I loved it."

It is certainly surprising to hear King's reaction to the film, especially with the context that he doesn't usually watch superhero movies, and it adds to its building positive word-of-mouth as we are getting closer to its release next month.

A high-profile endorsement from someone like King should help the publicity of the film and, with the absence of its star in the promotional campaign, it is looking like this will be their way of marketing it and hyping up the audience leading to its release.
