The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's third episode has got to be the most action-packed episode to date and considering it marks the return of the villainous Helmut Zemo, you know some sort of chaos was about to ensue. Shockingly enough, it was revealed in the episode that it was actually Bucky Barnes' idea to break him out of prison in Germany where he's been held captive following the events of Captain America: Civil War.

Bucky's motivation for helping Zemo escape Munich, of course, has something to do with the recreation of the supersoldier serum which the Power Broker used to enhance the abilities of the Flag-Smashers led by the unassuming Karli Morgenthau. Ultimately, Barnes and Wilson made the right call because Zemo has a ton of connections that know about the Broker's shady dealings and the new set of serums.

However, little does he know that he might have only made things worse by ensuring that Zemo is able to run free and cause potential damage because let's face it, he's pretty much a psychopath when you think about it. During the closing moments of the said episode, we see Bucky meet up with a familiar face in Ayo, one of Wakanda's Dora Milaje's who actually first made an appearance in Civil War escorting T'Challa aka Black Panther.

Ayo made it clear that she's after Zemo but the exact reason still remains unclear. It's safe to assume that Wakanda knew about Bucky and Sam breaking the villain out of prison and they're trying to keep a close eye on Zemo since he was responsible for killing King T'Chaka. It's also worth mentioning that Bucky seemed to have expected the arrival of Ayo which leads me to believe that they're actually setting Zemo up or at least making sure he doesn't do anything crazy.

The latest episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is now streaming on Disney+.
