There is little doubt that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is all about Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes. However, the Disney+ series may also be helping set up the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The latest episode The Star-Spangled Man actually introduced another Young Avenger who could play a bigger role in the MCU's Phase 4.

In The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 2, Bucky brings Sam to Baltimore to meet Isaiah Bradley, a veteran who served during the Korean War. Isaiah also happens to be a Super Soldier and was once considered to be the Black Captain America. However, he isn't the only comic book character who was introduced in this scene.

We also got to see Isaiah's grandson Eli Bradley who happens to be a member of the Young Avengers in the comic books. The character, who is played by Elijah Richardson, only appears briefly but his appearance already has fans expecting to see him in action as Patriot.

Eli isn't the first Young Avenger to appear in the MCU. We've already met Cassie Lang, the future Stature in Ant-Man, Ant-Man and The Wasp, and Avengers: Endgame. WandaVision had previously introduced Wanda Maximoff's children Billy and Tommy aka Wiccan and Speed.

It doesn't stop there. Soon, we'll get to see Kate Bishop, the next Hawkeye in the MCU series. With that in mind, it's beginning to look like these shows are preparing the young heroes for their awesome future.

For now, it's unclear whether Eli will play a larger role in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Nevertheless, we're expecting to see more of the future Patriot in the upcoming episodes.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 2 is now available on Disney+.
