Fans are loving the latest episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier because of the awesome action sequences. However, The Star-Spangled Man also had people talking about the shocking scene where Sam Wilson gets racially profiled by the police.
WATCH OUT! The following contains SPOILERS from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 2! Proceed with caution!
In The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 2, Sam and Bucky Barnes head for Germany to investigate the Flag-Smashers. After realizing that the terrorist group is smuggling vaccines, the duo also discovers that all the members, including their leader Karli Morgenthau, have super strength just like Captain America.
Bucky shares that there are other Super Soldiers out there and takes Sam to Isaiah Bradley in hopes of enlisting the latter's help. However, Isaiah refuses and Sam and Bucky end up arguing outside his home. That's when the police arrive and immediately assume that Sam is trying to hurt Bucky.
It's a shocking scene considering that things could have turned out differently if the police didn't recognize Sam as Falcon. Needless to say, people were infuriated by how the police handled the situation.
It may have been a frustrating scene to watch but many fans also pointed out that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier took an honest approach to the situation.
Although Sam and Bucky would have been able to get out of the situation because of who they are, the police still arrested Bucky for missing his court-mandated therapy session. It's honestly a better option for the two since things could have been much more severe in real life.
