The Detective Is Already Dead Episode 11 was by no means flawless, but it was at least determined to tie all loose ends of the threads tying the characters together. Siesta's death, proves to have been more than an unfortunate moment, and Kimizuka must accept a heavy burden.

Kimizuka is still determined to save Natsunagi from Chameleon and manages to do so in an overblown fight. Char comes to his aid, declaring that she hates him, but will still stand by him, since Siesta, whom she loves, chose him as a successor.
Yui and Nagisa both get away safely, but the fight between Chimi and Chameleon goes strong. Then, an injured Kimizuka has a vision - and this is where the actual episode begins.
Remember when we all complained about this being a harem anime, rather than a detective story? Well, here's a messy attempt to make it less of a harem: in his vision, Kimi encounters Hel - but not as he remembered her. There's a fight going on in her once confident body, as Siesta's heart is still there. Managing to take over for a bit, Kimizuka's old partner explains her plan.
Siesta knew all along that saving Alicia would mean death for herself, yet she chose to go through with it wanting to protect her client's interests at all costs. How she knew Hel would take her heart for herself is unclear, but that being so, Siesta is determined to suppress Hel's personality long enough for Alicia to surface and lead a normal life.
To put it simply, Nagisa is Hel and Siesta, trying to be Alicia. Sometimes, writing workshops advise you to merge characters who serve a similar purpose into one, more well-rounded one. I'm pretty sure this isn't what they meant, but nice try, Detective. Now it only remains to see where the finale will take us.
