During an event at Vought International, The Deep lays out what films and series to expect in the VCU (Vought Cinematic Universe) Timeline in "phases 7 through 19."

Fans cheered as the black screen presented every single movie title with its own logos and how they are connected and should be watched in chronological order. Sound familiar?

Considering that The Boys is filled with superhero spoofs from Marvel and DC, this comes as no surprise. If anything, the timeline photo was intentional to make the episode even funnier than it already is.

The Iron Man / Batman-like villain from Gen V just joined The Boys season 4. He previously made a quick appearance in the third episode, before eventually getting his cameo credited in the fourth episode.

Well, by the fifth one, he's far more involved in solving the case of who was the mole rat leaking information from Vought and The Seven.

While Homelander and the others took turns beating up the alleged culprit, Sister Sage handed over a diary to Tek Knight, which could potentially contain crucial lead on who's the actual mole among The Seven (A-Train).

Since the events of The Boys and its spin-off series, Gen V, are closely tied together, what better way to connect their worlds than by dropping some easter eggs along the way?

In this case, Godolkin University is making its way into The Boys.

The marketing team encouraged Ryan that he should go to a Super School, which is none other than Godolkin University, the school for Supes in the series spinoff, Gen V.

Apart from mentioning the school, the episode also features Sam and Cate, also known as The Guardians of Godolkin who brought chaos in the Gen V season 1 finale. Their crime went unscathed with Homelander depicting them as heroes.

Training A-Train: The Blind Side Ripoff

Remember when Will Ferrell made that hilarious cameo in The Boys season 4?

Well, the fifth episode officially debuted the final product of Training A-Train and it's giving off the same vibes as The Blind Side, which Ferrell previously mentioned when he and A-Train were taking a break from filming: "I'm not giving off too much of a Blindside, am I?"
