With the first three episodes of The Boys Season 4 dropping on June 13, the show has released teaser posters of the anti-Supes crew, hinting at what’s in store for the fan-favourite characters this season.

Sharing the spotlight with Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) is the mystery character of Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who is expected to play a key role in this season’s events. His addition to the series has driven massive fan speculation, and showrunner Eric Kripke further fans the flames by revealing that he is playing “an old colleague of Butcher’s.”

In an interview, he said, “I can tell you that he shares much of Butcher's concern and hatred of superheroes… What would happen if he started working with someone who wants to push him forward?”

Season 4 also looks to continue highlighting the dynamics between Starlight/Annie January (Erin Moriarty) and Hughie Campbell (Jack Quaid), whose relationship has endured difficult times.

Now that they are both on the same side as members of The Boys, the couple will have to deal with the consequences of their actions in the previous season, with Moriarty sharing, "There's always trouble on the horizon to a certain degree in there... as soon as things start to feel like smooth sailing, I'm just gripping onto the boat, waiting for the turbulence and the waves to start again."

Rounding up the vigilantes are Frenchie/Serge (Tomer Capone), new team leader Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), and The Female/Kimiko Miyashiro (Karen Fukuhara), whose personal relationships and motivations keep them in the group. In Season 3, the three have come to terms with their respective roles in the fight against superpowered individuals and are heading in the same direction as in Season 4.
