What happened in The Book of Boba Fett Episode 1?
In The Book of Boba Fett, Chapter I: Stranger in a Strange Land, since 1983, it remained a mystery on what happened to Boba Fett after Sarlaac and how he really survived the monster in Return of the Jedi. He used a flamethrower to get out of the Sarlaac’s belly and he dug himself out of it. He survived because of his armor made of Durasteel and Beskar. Plus, he has an oxygen supply in his suit.
He collapsed after he escaped and the Jawas took his armor and weapons. He was weak and almost near-death but the Tusken Raiders arrived to capture him. He couldn’t defend himself so he just gave in. They, kind-of, saved him, too. However, he was forced to dig and look for water together with another prisoner, a Roidan, who planned an escape with him.
During their dig, they unearthed a vicious sand creature and it attacked the Tusken people. Fett, being a formidable fighter, used his chains to kill the creature and he returned to the Tusken Raider camp with its head. He proved to be a legend in the flesh and he is celebrated.
